It was the day of the Kavanaugh hearings. I was in between big quilts and needed a break. A bathroom rug with a giant water mammal would do, I decided. As I was flipping through pictures of whales online I came across one with a giant penis. As the Kavanaugh hearing continued I grew more and more frustrated. I decided the whale needed a long, red tongue indicating not only his horniness but also his brazen impudence.

This hand-quilted rug or wall hanging is 100 percent Kona cotton. It measures 22 x 16 inches and can be machine-washed and line-dried.
